Friday Faves

Friday Faves

Happy Friday the 13th Goddesses! Have you felt the shift in energy? Today the moon is in Pisces which is a water sign and one of the more psychic signs. This is the perfect time to meditate and reach out to any spiritual guides you work with. During this time reflect on what has happened since the New Moon on August 30th. It's a great time to look at your patterns and decide what no longer serves you. It's time to level up.

For this week's favorites I am digging:

Fav read: Circe by Madeline Miller, I grew up loving Greek Mythology and the Illiad and Odyssey by Homer, so when I learned about this book and how it's the perspective of Circe (the witch that Odysseus stays with before he sails home to Penelope) I knew I had to read it. I read this book several months ago and it still haunts me. It's become so popular that rumor has it HBO will be producing a miniseries based on the novel.

Fav beverage: The Fireside Latte at Arcadia Coffee, seriously the BEST pumpkin type latte I've had in a very long time.

Fav accessory: Evil Eye Travel bag, $35, I use this bag all the time. It makes for the best jewelry bag when traveling. I've also used it to carry my crystals and tarot cards.

Fav podcast: The Witch Wave podcast by Pam Grossman. This was the first podcast I listened to when I started learning about spirituality, Wiccans and superstition. She does a wonderful job describing the background for everything "witchy" and she interviews so many interesting people on how their practice shapes their lives. It's great for anyone curious about the witchy world.

Fav Song: Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan the nights are getting longer and magic is becoming more alive at night.

From now until November I will have a table at various shows every Saturday and I will have a few classes. I hope to see some of y'all out and about. Tomorrow, Saturday, 9/14 I will be at Three Danes Inn with a bunch of other fabulous businesswomen selling my jewelry from 9-2pm. I'll also have my dog, Tallulah, so come say hi to us both!
